- Critically assess the digital marketing landscape and current trends
- Create engaging and interactive content for appropriate platforms to attract and retain customers
- Evaluate technologies and understand appropriate adoption and use in a digital marketing context
- Demonstrate an awareness of current trends and future developments in digital marketing
- Critically understand the complexities and dynamic environment of the digital marketing industry
- Critically appraise and evaluate the routes to establishing a company presence online through web development and social media
- Critically evaluate best practice methods for a company’s online presence
- Execute optimal web presence through usability, accessibility and SEO
- Track and evaluate data, providing comprehensive recommendations through representation and analysis
- Critically analyse the antecedents of a marketing orientation, and how each of these might be operationalised to provide an organisation with genuine marketing orientation
- Develop organisation appropriate segments and apply meaningful criteria in segment selection and targeting
- Develop situation specific marketing mixes, drawing on a range of marketing and non-marketing variables
- Discriminate between different economic, social psychological, and technological perspectives on buyer behaviour
- Critically appraise demographic shifts and other behavioural bases
- Distinguish and evaluate buyer behavior in both a consumer and B2B context
- Critically analyse a range of up-to-date marketing strategy theories and models
- Critically analyse a range of marketing planning models
- Evaluate and select relevant marketing strategy and planning theories and models for specific case studies
- Apply, critically appraise and provide recommendations for specific case studies based on relevant academic theory
- Implement and assess the on-going strategic direction of a digital marketing campaign
- Analyse the company external and internal environment and provide a clear and actionable digital marketing strategy
- Create and execute the marketing campaign within a digital marketing environment
- Review the performance of the digital marketing campaign using analytics and comparing the plan versus actual
- Evaluate the personal effectiveness of the project team / individual
- Critically evaluate and examine research approaches with particular reference to digital marketing
- Develop a research proposal for examining digital marketing within an academic or practical environment
- Assess and recommend the research methods that may be used for future research within a major project or consultancy report
- Source and critically evaluate a body of academic literature relevant to the research problem or scenario
- Critically appraise and apply a variety of research methods and techniques to collect, analyse, interpret and present date to ensure research aims are appropriately achieved
- Draw evidenced conclusions and make realistic recommendations underpinned by both data and academic literature
- Demonstrate effective time management skills in completing the project within an agreed timescale

PROGRAMME DETAILS
12 Months (Full Time)
- Monday to Friday (within 8:30am – 6:30pm)
- 3 hours per session
15 Months (Part-time)
- Monday to Friday (7:00pm – 10:00pm)
- Saturday and/or Sunday (from 9:00am – 6:00pm)
- 3 hours per session
MODE OF ASSESSMENTS
Participants will be assessed based on a combination of artefacts, portfolio, reports, reflection, and essays within the study scope of theories, discussion projects, case studies in the area of Digital Marketing
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- 21 years old and above with an undergraduate degree or equivalent, or professional qualification or equivalent.
- or 30 years old and above with at least 8 years of working experience. (case-by-case basis)
- and English proficiency
